PRIVACY CONTROLS

Cookie Policy

This Policy explains cookies, local storage, analytics and advertising technologies that may operate on the Europa Climate website and how you control them.Effective date: 26 October 2026
Terms of UsePrivacy PolicyCookie PolicyGDPR & KVKK Notice

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Local storage, pixels, tags, software development tools and similar identifiers can perform related functions. They may remember a preference, secure a service, measure use or associate visits with an advertising campaign. First-party technologies are set for this website; third-party technologies are operated by another provider.

2. Consent approach

Strictly necessary storage is used to provide security and remember your privacy choice. Analytics and marketing categories are disabled by default and require an affirmative choice where consent is required. “Accept all”, “Reject non-essential” and “Manage preferences” are presented separately. You can withdraw or change consent at any time through “Cookie Settings” in the footer.

3. Categories

The preference panel uses the following categories:

  • Necessary: security, routing and storage of your consent choice. This category cannot be disabled through the panel.
  • Analytics: aggregated measurement, page performance, interaction analytics and—if enabled—Microsoft Clarity session analytics. This category is optional.
  • Marketing: Meta Pixel, Google advertising technologies, Microsoft/Bing advertising and conversion measurement. This category is optional.

4. Current first-party preference storage

The website stores the key “europa-cookie-consent-v1” in browser local storage for up to 180 days. It records the policy version, selected categories and update time. It does not contain your name, email or project details. Clearing browser data removes the stored preference and causes the banner to appear again.

5. Google technologies

If Google Analytics, Google Ads or Google Tag Manager is installed, the site sends Consent Mode v2 signals before those technologies use optional storage. Analytics permission controls analytics storage; marketing permission controls advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization. Depending on the configuration, Google Analytics may use _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies for up to two years. Google may process device, usage, referrer, approximate location and campaign information under its own policies.

6. Meta Pixel

If Meta Pixel is installed, it is assigned to the Marketing category. It may measure visits, page views, enquiries and campaign attribution and may use identifiers such as _fbp or _fbc. It remains blocked or receives a denied consent state until Marketing is accepted. Meta may combine event and device information with information associated with Meta products according to its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Microsoft and Bing technologies

If Microsoft Clarity or Microsoft Advertising/Bing UET is installed, Analytics and Marketing choices are communicated separately. Clarity analytics can use first-party identifiers such as _clck and _clsk; advertising functionality can use Microsoft identifiers such as MUID. Clarity consent is mapped to analytics storage and advertising storage so accepting one category does not automatically grant the other.

8. Search-engine crawlers

Googlebot, Bingbot and other legitimate search-engine crawlers may request public pages to index them. Crawlers are not treated as a visitor’s cookie preference and generally do not use the banner. Their requests can create server logs containing IP address, user-agent, requested path and timestamp. These first-party logs are stored on Europa Climate servers hosted at the Datacasa Tier 3 data centre in Başakşehir/İstanbul. Indexing can be managed through robots directives and search-engine webmaster tools.

9. Typical technology register

Technology names and durations depend on which measurement IDs are actually installed. The following register defines the permitted configuration for this site:

  • europa-cookie-consent-v1 — Europa Climate — Necessary — local storage — consent preference — up to 180 days.
  • _ga / _ga_<id> — Google Analytics — Analytics — distinguish users and retain session state — up to 2 years.
  • _gcl_au and related conversion identifiers — Google Ads — Marketing — advertising conversion attribution — commonly up to 90 days.
  • _fbp / _fbc — Meta Pixel — Marketing — browser and campaign attribution — commonly up to 90 days.
  • _clck / _clsk — Microsoft Clarity — Analytics — pseudonymous user and session continuity — provider-defined duration.
  • MUID and related Microsoft identifiers — Microsoft Advertising/Clarity — Marketing — advertising and cross-session measurement — provider-defined duration.

10. Changing preferences

Use the footer’s “Cookie Settings” button to reopen the panel. Rejecting a category sends updated denial signals. Where supported, providers are instructed to stop optional storage; existing provider cookies may also need to be removed through browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

11. Browser controls and privacy signals

Browsers allow you to inspect, block and delete cookies or local storage. Blocking all storage may affect essential functions. Where the browser exposes a Global Privacy Control signal, the website treats it as a strong indication that non-essential tracking should remain disabled. Generic “Do Not Track” signals may not be uniformly supported by third parties.

12. International processing and providers

Google, Meta and Microsoft operate internationally and may process information in several countries. Their activation requires the applicable consent and an appropriate international-transfer mechanism under GDPR and KVKK. Provider privacy notices explain their independent processing, retention and rights procedures.

13. Contact and updates

Questions about cookies or consent records may be sent to info@europaclimate.com or Berat DURAK at +90 850 606 01 09. The policy and technology register are reviewed when a tag, provider, purpose or retention period changes. Material changes trigger an updated version and renewed consent where required.
